Wrinkle Relaxers
Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Letybo are neuromodulators that work to reduce muscle tension in the area injected. As we age, our facial muscle fibers get shorter and stiffer which causes harsh facial contraction thus harsh lines on the face (i.e. frown lines, crow's feet, lip "smoker" lines, downturn corners of the mounth, etc).
The right dose and skillful application of wrinkle-relaxers can not only smooth away the wrinkles caused by harsh muscle contraction but also create sligtht lift to certain areas of the face. The right application should achieve a softer, tighter, more refreshed looking face in the short term. In the long term, wrinkle-relaxers slow down the rate at which your skin develops wrinkles and if used preventatively and consistently can prevent muscle- related wrinkles from ever forming.
A Wrinkle-Relaxer treatment is also known as the "lunch time beauty treatment" because it is a quick 10 min procedure with no downtime. There will be some redness and bumps after that resolves in about 15 minutes. Bruising, although not common, can happen which is often a small "dot" and easily concealable. Results last for 3-4 months.
Dermal Filler
Dermal filler or "fillers" are excellent for reshaping, rebalancing, and rejuvenating the face giving the face an almost "airbrushed" look. Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid gel, a natural complex sugar compound naturally found in our bodies. They are engineered and crosslinked in such a way that the gel can provide support in the skin to volumize and lift when injected in the right amounts in the right areas. These last two things are the most important! Natural looking results are not filler dependent, they are injector dependent.
There is lidocaine (a numbing agent) in the filler. The procedure can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the areas being injected (for instance lip filler versus full face balancing respectively). There will be 3-5 days of slight swelling, lumps/bumps, soreness/tenderness, and possible bruising. Results last for at least a year, often requiring a small touch-up in 1-2 years.

Collagen Stimulating Injections
Sculptra is Poly-L-Lactic Acid and Hyperdilute (HD) Radiesse is Calicum Hydroxyapatite. Both are able to stimulate collagen and volume when injected into the skin and tissue for long-term rejuvenation. Sculptra and HD Radiesse are not only limited to the face but can also be used in the body to treat loose crepey skin from the neck, chest, hands, elbows, knees, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and buttocks. Results are healthier, tighter, and smoother skin from the inside out.
Collagen stimualators require multiple sessions averaging between 2-4 sessions depending on the treated area. Results can last 3-5 years. One booster/maintenance session every 2-3 years is recommended.
