REGENERATIVE AESTHETICS
At MUDITĀ Skin Health, our regenerative treatments harness your body’s own natural healing mechanisms to restore, strengthen, and rejuvenate from the inside out.
By using advanced platelet-based therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), we stimulate collagen production, improve tissue quality, and promote long-term regeneration rather than temporary correction.
From hair restoration and skin revitalization to improved texture, tone, and firmness, our regenerative approach focuses on creating healthier, more resilient skin and hair with results that look natural and evolve beautifully over time.
HAIR RESTORATION WITH PRP
PRP can treat female and male hair thinning and hair loss. PRP is platelet rich plasma that is derived from your own blood. It is simply blood that has a higher concentration of platelets. Platelets contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. To obtain PRP, your blood is drawn then centrifuged. Your PRP is collected, then injected into multiple areas of hair loss across your scalp. PRP stimulates new hair growth, prevents hair loss, and thickens existing hair follicles. The usual treatment plan involves three sessions, approximately one month apart, followed by maintenance sessions every six to twelve months to keep up the results. For best results, an oral supplement and topical hair foam for home care is included with our Hair Restoration PRP series.
MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP
Microneedling with the SkinPen device causes micro-columns of injury into the skin that stimulates the body's natural wound healing process leading to new collagen and elastin growth. SkinPen microneeding is ideal for treatment of acne scars, softening of fine lines and other textural irregularities in the skin, and also helps in reducing hyperpigmentation.
Treatment areas are face and neck. The treatment area is numbed with topical lidocaine prior to treatment. Downtime is about 3 days of redness, dryness, and tightness to the skin. It is important to stay out of the sun 1 week prior and at least 1 week after treatment. Patients may also add-on Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to their microneeding treatment for increase wound healing and boost for collagen and elastin regeneration. PRP is taken from the patient's blood draw and centrifuged (spun) to separate out the platelets from the red blood cells. Platelets contain growth factors that help the skin heal and produce collagen. PRP is added topically during the microneedling treatment. PRP is using the body's own natural growth factors to aid in skin anti-aging and restoration.
Other applications of PRP include hair restoration when injected into the scalp and tightening and improvement to under eye crepeiness and laxity when injected into the under eyes. These add-ons only take 15-20 more minutes with swelling as downtime for 3-5 days.
For best results microneedling and PRP should be done in a series (2-4 sessions) as recommneded by your specialist.
PRP AND PRF
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) are advanced autologous regenerative therapies used in medical aesthetics to stimulate tissue repair, collagen synthesis, and cellular regeneration. These treatments utilize biologic components derived from the patient’s own blood, making them a natural and well-tolerated option for skin rejuvenation and restoration.
To obtain PRP or PRF, a small blood sample is drawn and processed using specialized centrifugation techniques. PRP is produced by separating and concentrating platelets within the plasma, resulting in a platelet-rich solution containing high levels of growth factors and cytokines that promote healing and skin renewal. PRF is prepared using a slower, additive-free centrifugation process, preserving a fibrin matrix that allows for sustained release of growth factors and enhanced tissue regeneration over time.
PRP is a powerful, fast-acting treatment ideal for revitalizing the skin, improving tone and elasticity, and enhancing overall radiance. PRF represents the next evolution in regenerative aesthetics—processed without additives and released more slowly, allowing for longer-lasting rejuvenation and enhanced tissue repair.
Used alone or combined with microneedling or injectable treatments, PRP and PRF promote natural, gradual improvements with minimal downtime. These regenerative therapies are ideal for patients seeking a holistic, biologically based approach to skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and age-related volume loss..
Sculptra is Poly-L-Lactic Acid and Hyperdilute (HD) Radiesse is Calicum Hydroxyapatite. Both are able to stimulate collagen and volume when injected into the skin and tissue for long-term rejuvenation. Sculptra and HD Radiesse are not only limited to the face but can also be used in the body to treat loose crepey skin from the neck, chest, hands, elbows, knees, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and buttocks. Results are healthier, tighter, and smoother skin from the inside out.
Collagen stimualators require multiple sessions averaging between 2-4 sessions depending on the treated area. Results can last 3-5 years. One booster/maintenance session every 2-3 years is recommended.
There is lidocaine mixed into the injections and the procedure feels vey similar to dermal filler injections. The procedure can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the area(s) being injected. There will be 3-5 days of swelling, lumps/bumps, soreness/tenderness, and possible bruising.
